This is a highlight video from my recent debate with Christian Apologist Matt Slick. Matt failed to support his argument for the necessity of the Trinity. He also was unable to respond or even properly understand my 3 arguments against the Trinity. This is primarily because Matt is ignorant of his own theological tradition and refused to engage intellectually with the philosophical critiques of the Trinity that are available in the academic literature. Last, but certainly not least, Matt displayed incredible ignorance of basic Christian trinitarian theology and terminology. For example, Matt claimed that the doctrine of divine processions wasn’t related to the ontological Trinity. He didn’t properly understand the distinction between the ontological and economic Trinity. Some resources for my arguments in the debate can be found at the end of the video. It is my hope that Matt will take them seriously and realize that he has much more studying to do.
